• Conducted surveys to gauge the use of Teach-Back method in the telemetry floor.

• Led an informal in-service for telemetry and pediatric staff nurses about different approaches to use Teach-Back by using a poster board.

• Presented before Management and Administrators from different departments utilizing PowerPoint.

Correlation of Breastfeeding and Postpartum Depression

​Research Title: “Does the Lack of Breastfeeding in the First Year of Life Correlate to Postpartum Depression in Adult Women Ages 25-35”

• Collaborated with fellow students in research by obtaining and synthesizing a literature review utilizing the most current evidence-based articles.

• Presented research findings before professional experts from different organizations, foundations, and the student body of CSU-Channel Islands.
